Hi. I am  Eyosiyas Worede “Tiftu”. I was born and grew up  in the Simien Mountains National Park. I attended my elementary school in my village and studied Tourism (Tour guiding courses). When I finished college, I was one of the few candidates to pass the entrance exam for the Bureau of Tourism Commission’s to become a professional guide in the Simien Mountains. Subsequently, I learned and took trainings which covered wild-life conservation in Ethiopia, Tourism management, Ethiopian ecology, botany, mammal and bird identification and history, as well as trekking arrangement, mountaineering, map-reading, first-aid, customer handling and service providing. This training increased my awareness and knowledge of all Ethiopian tourist destinations a lot. Upon finishing, I became an official guide in 2005 and have been leading tourists everywhere in Ethiopia.
